Ronfell Group - Silicone Technology Division have pleasure in introducing our new
Silfire high temperature fire / flame retardant rubber products in classification 1 and 2. We manufacture extrusion and
rubber moulding materials in either Silicone rubber or EPDM, with applications at temperatures exceeding +300 Deg C and
where a "Zero spread of flame" is required to specifications thus averting disasters.
Ronfell's Section 12 protection System for London Underground, Tubelines and Metronet is a high specification system.
It is manufactured from LUL compliant Ronsil 72 LCH1 flame retardant silicone rubber (Section 12 compliant) for sub-surface
and surface station equipment.
Heat and Dust proof:
Affords excellent protection from knocks, dinks and scratches while equipment is being transported through the barriers
during station refurbishment projects.

With hot soapy water. Paint resistant.

Ronsil Special 72 LCH1 is available in the form of mouldings, vacuum welded jointed sheets, profile extrusions and sheet.
It is particularly suited to use in engineering applications where public safety is a main concern. There is a wide range
of standard colours available; although not all colours can be matched, Ronfell Group has a large amount of experience at
being able to produce these materials in colours that are tailored to customer requirements.

From a cost-efficient and widely used grade of rubber sheeting for various applications,
technical grade rubber holds specific properties to meet your business needs,
for food, beverages and pharmaceutical usage where purity of the rubber compound is essential
to foam rubbers engineered to withhold there cellular structure, various applications
including use with water, acids, and alkalis.
The SE range of Cellular Silicone Elastomers is available as profile extrusions, jointed
rings, sheeting, which can be self- adhesive backed, strip and punchings. They are
particularly suited to use in high temperature seals and gaskets, where a soft, easily
deformed rubber is required. There is a full range of standard colours available, and
Silicone Engineering has the capability to colour match to customer requirements. Other
specific sponge grades available include Flame retardant grades, SE515 & SE524 AFS1682,
AMS3195, AMS3196 & BMS 1-60.
The SE range of Cellular Silicone Elastomers is available as profile extrusions, jointed
rings, sheeting, which can be self- adhesive backed, strip and punchings. They are
particularly suited to use in high temperature seals and gaskets, where a soft, easily
deformed rubber is required. There is a full range of standard colours available, and
Silicone Engineering has the capability to colour match to customer requirements.

UL Approval
The Silfire has gained UL Approval by UL International
in Holland and is recognised for use by Nokia and B & W
in their equipment.
